FUNCTIONAL TEST ON THE EMERGENCY STOP DEVICES
MACHINE STATUS:
with feed track in motion and empty (without panels)
OPERATORS:
1 maintenance mechanic or 1 maintenance electrician.
Every 1000 hours (6 months)
perform the operating test of the emergency stop push buttons
(
FIG.4-REF.1 or FIG.5-REF.1 and FIG.6-REF.1
).
Proceed as follows:
(operations to be carried out for all emergency stop push buttons of the machine)
• Press the emergency stop push button.
• Verify that:
a) the push button remains pressed;
b) the pneumatic unit depressurizes quickly.
c) the spindles stop within 10 seconds;
d) the lamp of the AUXILIARY VOLTAGE push button is off (
FIG.4-REF.2 or FIG.5-REF.2
).
• Rotate the stop push button counter clockwise and verify that the machine does not start up.
IN CASE OF MALFUNCTIONS IT IS MANDATORY TO CONTACT THE COMPANY SAFETY
PERSONNEL IN CHARGE, WHO WILL TAKE THE APPROPRIATE ACTIONS.
THE EMERGENCY PUSH BUTTONS ARE PARTS THAT AFFECT THE SAFETY AND HEALTH
OF THE OPERATOR.
REPLACEMENT OF THE EMERGENCY PUSH BUTTONS:
MUST BE PERFORMED USING ONLY ORIGINAL SPARE PARTS SUPPLIED BY THE
MANUFACTURER (S. PAR. 2.1).
MUST BE PERFORMED BY THE MANUFACTIRER’S TECHNICIANS (S. PAR.1.3).
THE EMERGENCY PUSH BUTTONS CODES ARE CONTAINED IN THE LIST OF MATERIAL OF
THE ELECTRICAL DIAGRAM (S. CHAP. 13).
