RFK/6.1- ADJUSTMENT OF THE UPPER AND LOWER TRIMMING UNIT
ADJUSTMENT OF THE UPPER AND LOWER TRIMMING UNIT
POSITION WITH RESPECT TO THE PANEL
POSITION WITH RESPECT TO THE PANEL
THESE ADJUSTMENTS ARE CARRIED OUT IN THE MACHINE TESTING PHASE AND
GENERALLY DO NOT HAVE TO BE REPEATED.
If necessary, proceed as follows:
•
Using the hand wheels
(FIG.10-REF.1 and 2)
align the vertical track feelers with the miller teeth.
•
Feed the “sample” panel in correspondence to the unit.
Proceed as follows:
1) Adjusting the vertical position of the upper trimming unit:
•
Act on the nut
(FIG.10-REF.3)
, move the upper vertical track feeler ntil it just touches the “sample”
panel.
•
Shift the nut
(FIG.10-REF.3)
so it is 0,5 mm away from the shelf
(FIG.10-REF.4)
(use a thickness
gauge).
•
Shift the nut
(FIG.10-REF.5)
so it is 5 mm away from the shelf
(FIG.10-REF.4)
.
•
Reset the numeric indicator
(FIG.10-REF.6)
.
2) Adjusting the vertical position of the lower trimming unit:
•
Loose the nut
(FIG.11-REF.1)
.
•
Act on the screw
(FIG.11-REF.2)
, move the lower vertical track feeler ntil it just touches the “sample”
panel.
•
Shift the screw
(FIG.11-REF.2)
so it is 0,5 mm away from the carriage
(FIG.11-REF.3)
(use a thickness
gauge).
•
Block the nut
(FIG.11-REF.1)
.
•
Shift the screw
(FIG.12-REF.1)
so it is 5 mm away from the shelf
(FIG.12-REF.2)
.
•
Reset the numeric indicator
(FIG.11-REF.4)
.
EVERY TIME THE POSITION OF THE TRIMMING UNITS IS ADJUSTED IT IS, AFTERWARDS,
NECESSARY TO ADJUST COPYING PRESSURE AS DESCRIBED IN PAR. RFK/6.2.
