In designing and constructing the machining unit, the Manufacturer has implemented all of the
necessary measures for making it safe. However, in order to maintain machining unit functionality,
several potential residual risks may continue to exist.
RESIDUAL RISK

Inhalation of wood dust produced by machining.
FREQUENCY OF
EXPOSURE
Low and accidental. There may be exposure should the operator decide to
voluntarily perform an incorrect, prohibited and not reasonably predictable
action. (and/or does not use the Personal Protective Equipment PPE
s. par.5.8 ).
DIMENSIONS
OF DAMAGE Wood dust is dangerous to your health.
Slight (normally reversible) or serious (normally irreversible) injuries.
MEASURES
IMPLEMENTED
The unit is equipped with extraction hoods to be connected to the dust suction
equipment.
Use of Personal Protective Equipment PPE (
s. par.5.8 ).

To be hit by chip ejected and/or small fragments of wood or other
material used.
