This page displays the data for managing the upper presser axis:
Axis Enabling (On / Off)
- It allows the axis selection. The selection / deselection is also possible
with panels on the machine. After selecting the axis (On), the calibration of the axis is required
(s. par.

Reset position
- Indicates the position to which the presser goes when calibration is requested.
Park Position
– Indicates the position where the axis is placed when the unit is not selected (roller
axis).
Minimum shift
- when shift is less than set value, the presser diverges from the fi nal position by a
value equal to
Play recovery
and then goes to its position.
For the axis to work properly the minimum shift must be:
- greater then
Motor advance
- greater than
Tolerance
- less than

Motor advance
- Indicates the value needed to compensate the inertia of the axis at the end of
positioning.
Tolerance
- Indicates admissible divergence with respect to the presser end-of-positioning setting.
