3.5- MOVING THE MACHINE (“BLOCK” PACKAGING)
MACHINE STATUS:
on the transportation vehicle.
OPERATORS:
2 Operators in charge of moving the machine.
Proceed as follows:
• Remove the wooden blocks from the platform of the articulated lorry (trailer truck).
• Check the weight and the dimensions indicated on the packaging.
• Use a lift truck of suffi cient capacity and with forks of suitable width.
• Follow the graphic indications on the machine to identify the insertion points for the lift truck forks
(
FIG.2-REF.1).
• Before lifting the load, lift it a few centimeters to make sure that it is balanced.
• Move the machine to the installation site (
s. chap. 4).
• Lift the machine and remove the wooden blocks from the machine.

3.6- MOVING THE MACHINE (PALLET OR CRATE))
MACHINE STATUS:
on the transportation vehicle or in the container.
OPERATORS:
2 operators in charge of moving the machine.
Proceed as follows:
a) Moving with a lift truck:
• Check the weight and the dimensions indicated on the packaging.
• Use a lift truck of suffi cient capacity and with forks of suitable width.
• Follow the graphic indications on the machine to identify the insertion points for the lift truck forks.
• Before lifting the load, lift it a few centimetres to make sure that it is balanced.
b) Moving with a bridge crane or crane:
• Check the weight and the dimensions indicated on the packaging.
• Follow the graphic indications on the pallet or crate to identify the points for the fl at straps or chains.
• Use a bridge crane or a crane of suffi cient capacity.
• Before lifting the load, lift it a few centimetres to make sure that it is balanced.
