7.22 REPLACING LID LATCH SENSOR
1.
With the power supply is off, lift up the main cover.
2.
Detach the
Operator Panel assembly
based on
step 2
and
step 3
of
Section 7.15 Replacing Operator
Panel PCB
.

Below the purple
Lid Latch lever
, remove a
screw
(1) to detach the
Lid Latch sensor assembly
.
4.
Disconnect the
wiring harness
of the
Lid Latch sensor
(3).
5.
Remove the
screw
(2) securing the
Lid Latch sensor
(3) to the
Open sensor bracket
(4).
6.
Replace the defective
Lid Latch sensor
(3) as necessary and reverse the above procedures for reassem-
bly.
Note:
Insert the
wiring harness
firmly and arrange the
wiring harnesses
to ensure that they are not
pinched during installation.
7.
After replacement, check the Lid Latch sensor condition based on
Section 6.11.2 To check Head Open
sensor and Lid Latch Sensor.
