6.3 COUNTER CLEAR MODE
The printer has integrated counters to measure the accumulative activity of some features. These includes a
life counter, a head counter, a cut counter and a dispense counter.
In this mode, you can reset these counters to zero.

Enter to MAINTENANCE MODE, select FACTORY MODE and then press
FEED
button. Refer to
Section 4.14 Maintenance Mode
for more details.

In FACTORY MODE, the following selections are available on the COUN-
TER CLEAR screen. Use the
/ arrow
buttons to select the item. Then
press
FEED
button to reset the selected counter and proceed to next screen.

NONE
:
Not resetting the counter. Select NONE when you want to
exit the menu without resetting any counter.
•
ALL
:
Resetting all the counters and set the various printer set-
tings to default settings.
(The serial number of printer and PCB are not cleared.)
•
COUNTERS
: Resetting all the counters.
•
LIFE
:
Resetting the life counter. This counter would only be
reset in case of circuitry replacement.
•
HEAD
:
Resetting the head counter. It should be reset each time
the print head is replaced.
•
CUT
:
Resetting the cutter counter. It should be reset each time
the cutter is replaced.
6.4 COUNTER DISPLAY MODE
In this mode, you can display the value of the selected counters.

Enter to MAINTENANCE MODE, select FACTORY MODE and then press
FEED
button. Refer to
Section 4.14 Maintenance Mode
for more details.

When COUNTER CLEAR screen is displayed, select NONE and press
FEED
button to exit the COUNTER CLEAR mode.

On the COUNTER DISPLAY screen, use the
/ arrow
buttons to select
the desired counter and then press
FEED
button to display the value.

NONE
:
Select
NONE
when you want to exit the menu without
resetting any counter.
•
LIFE
:
Displays the life counter in which measures the length of
media the printer has printed. The measurement unit is in
meter.
•
HEAD
:
Displays the head counter in which records the length of
media printed by the print head. Record [1] (indicated on
the left of display) shows the measurement of last used
print head, while record [2] is of the next older print head
than record [1]. The measurement unit is in meter.
•
CUT
:
Displays the cutter counter in which records the number
of cut the printer had performed.
