14 in.) above the ground.

Unlock the float.

Check that the float lock linkage is on the down stops
(washer [A] cannot be moved) at both locations.
NOTE:
If the header is not on the down stops during the next two
steps, the voltage may go out of range during operation
causing a malfunction of the auto header height control
(AHHC) system. If the header is not on the down stops,
refer to
3.11 Leveling Header, page 217
for instructions.

If the pointer is not on zero, loosen bolt (A) and slide float
indicator plate (B) until pointer (C) is on
0
(D). Tighten the
nut on bolt (A).

Ensure the header float is unlocked.
