DISASSEMBLING THE DIFFERENTIAL GEAR

With a puller applied under coupling (25), pull out bearing (44) and

shoulder (26) for coupling (25).

Remove coupling (25) and collect the drive balls (27).

Only if necessary:

remove guide key (28) from coupling (25).

Make positional marks on the half-boxes of differential (29); loosen

and remove joining screws (30).

Remove upper half box (31), and then pull out shoulder ring (32)

and crown wheel (33).

Complete differential disassembly procedure by following the

instructions given in the first part of the manual (see «REMOVING

AND DISASSEMBLING THE DIFFERENTIAL UNIT»).
