Mount driver

, thrust block of inner bearing (10) and pack of
shims (11) onto tension bar

Introduce the tension bar into the
main body and mount the thrust block of outer bearing (9) and
driver

NOTE.
Grease shims to hold them in position.
Connect the tension bar to the press and push the thrust blocks of
bearings (9) and (10) into their seats.
Disconnect from the press and remove tension bar and drivers.
CALCULATING PINION BEARINGS ROLLING TORQUE
Introduce tool
T17
complete with bearings (9) and (10) into the
main body (6); tighten by hand until a rolling torque is definitely
obtained.
