About the account log file
Introduction
An account log file consists of data records. The data records contain information
about the use of the Océ VarioPrint
®
2100/2110. For each job on the Océ VarioPrint
®
2100/2110, a new data record is added to the current account log file.
The first record of an account log file is the header record. This record acts as the
heading of a table. The header record always starts with 4302. Every subsequent data
field starts with 4303. Records of type 4303 hold the actual accounting information
for each job.
The name of an account log file has the following format: <serial
number><year><month><date>.<extension>. The serial number of the device
consists of 9 digits. For active account log files, the extension is '.ACL'. For inactive
account log files, the extension is '.CSV'. An example of the name of an account log
file is '12345678920071231.CSV'.
Note:
The Océ Smart Imager can store a maximum of 99 account log files.
The specifications of the account log file
The following specifications apply to the account log files.
■
The system creates an account log record for each finished job. A job is finished
when all the scanning or printing activities have stopped because these activities
were successfully finished or interrupted. When you must remove pages after, for
example, an error, the system does not count these pages. When you use the
Set-build function, the system does not count the scans for imported sets that
were cancelled.

The language of an account log file is always English.
■
An account log file stores each record with the file name and contents that are
specified in the table below.
■
There is always 1 active account log file. The system can store a maximum of 99
account log files. When the limit is reached, the oldest file is removed.
■
A new active account log file begins at 00.00 hours. The file remains active for
24 hours. Then, the system converts this information into a permanent account
log file (.csv file) and creates a new account log file that remains active for 24
hours.
