Display operator notes attached to print jobs
Introduction
Task for operators
When a print job is defined in the printer driver, this job can include an operator note.
This operator note contains instructions for the operator, for example when the job
must be ready or directions to change the media.
Jobs with operator notes get a special icon
. Interactive print jobs that go the
mailbox can include operator notes, but also automatic print jobs. Automatic print
jobs go straight to the job queue and the system does not stop printing. Therefore,
you must open an automatic print job by hand when you see the operator note icon
in the 'Job queue'.

How to display an operator notes for interactive print jobs
1.
Press the function key 'Print' to open the mailbox.
2.
Use the arrow keys to select the job that you want to print.
3.
Press the function key 'Edit...'.
4.
Press the soft key 'Operator note'.
You can now read the note. Press 'OK' to close the note.
Note:
If no operator note is attached, the 'Operator note' key is disabled.
