6. Check for water contamination in the oil
reservoir (D) of the pump. If the oil is
contaminated (grey/milky), do the following:
a. Pour out the oil.
b. Clean the oil reservoir (D).
c. Fill and prime the complete lubrication
system.
Note!
Make sure that the complete system
(including valves, pipes, filter etc) is filled with oil
and that all fittings are tightened, when you have
completed any type of work on the lubrication
system There must not be any air bubbles in the
system. If necessary, prime each circuit using
the prime function.
Function test of the ADF
Leak test
1. Build up the pressure in the ADF unit to 7
bar (700 kPa).
2. Close the valve to the compressor and
locate any leaks by listening.
3. Lower the pressure to 1 bar (100 kPa) and
apply soap water with a paint brush over the
joints and couplings and look for air bubbles.
4. Check the pressure gauge at the main valve
to see if there is a pressure fall.
