INSTALLATION MANUAL

ELECTRICAL TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

This document contains the troubleshooting guide for the

electrical system.

General

All motors coming from Sweden are tested to run with the right

Phase-sequence on incoming Power Supply. Wrong Phase-

sequence means that all motors are rotating the wrong way.

Troubleshooting guide

1. Control panel

Follow the Electrical Drawings on the frontpage (Voltage and frequency).

Check the voltage to the control panel with the help of a Volt-meter.

OK?

Main switch may be broken or fuses for the power supply

may need to be changed.

If none of the above examples solved the problem:

Contact El-design support

Yes

Find out which door-switch that fails by checking the diode on

the door switches. Green light = OK. Check the CableNo on

the El-drawings.

Check all connections in the junction boxes and in the

control panel.

Look for loose wires on the relays and on the terminal blocks.

OK?

Yes

Check the digital input on the PLC.

(The light is on if it is functioning.)

Check if the relay has power.

If none of the above examples solved the problem:
