Preparing the logger for measurements
1. Select the tab or button marked Settings (A), see screen
previous page.
The following screen will appear:

2. Type appropriate information in the red marked fields (B).
3. Type the sampling rate from 1 sampling per second up to
1000 in the red marked field (C), Sampling period (ms).
The table below explains what sampling period to type, to get
the desired numbers of measurements per second.

It is desirable to get a high resolution. At the recommended belt
speed of 1 stack revolution/minute and a setting of 10 meas-
urements/second you will get a distance between samplings
of: 20500 (length of tier) divided by 600 = 34 mm. While if you
use 1 second in between measurements the distance between
measurements is 340 mm! This goes for a GC M10.
Due to excel worksheet limitations, the maximum worksheet
size is 65,536 rows by 256 columns. If Excel is used to produce
the graph. the maximum number of samplings will be 65536.
