INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION MANUAL

INSTALLATION AND MOUNTING OF THE

STEEL WORK

This document, together with the drawings, gives the complete

instructions for mounting and installing the steel work.

Installing the Steel work

1.  Assemble and install the stands on the empty floor half.
2.  Install the internal sheeting. Do not tighten the fasteners.
3.  Do a check of the underside of the stand-feet and of the

levels of the drive system.

Refer to the drawing of the stand.

This is done to make sure that the levels of the drive system
will be correct after the equipment has been transported.

4. Adjust the levels of the drive system that are incorrect.

Re-

fer to step 3 and to the drawing of the stand.

5. Install the ballrails to the stands. Use two persons to care-

fully put them in the correct position and bolt them into
place. Do not tighten the bolts.

Caution

Handle the ballrails very carefully and use two

persons when lifting and handling them. The

ballrail are a very important part of the drive

system and they are easily damaged. If the ball-

rail are damaged by incorrect handling, thay are

very hard or impossible to repair.

6. Install the stand extensions.

Note!

Step 6 to step 11 are done to put weight on the drive system

before you can continue to install the drive system.
7. Install the internal mezzanine floor, if it is equipped, and the

support ring.

8. Install the vertical sheeting and the mezzanine floor. Do not

tighten the fasteners.

9.  Install the internal rails.
10.  Install the air balance tunnel and the tunnel extension.
11.  Install the Equalizing Duct (EQD).
