INSTALLATION OF BALL CHAINS
This document, together with the corresponding
drawing package, gives the complete instruc-
tions for installing the ball chains.
1 Make sure that the motor turns in the
correct direction.
2 Clean the rails completely.
3 Lubricate the rails with Oil J.

manual sheet: “Recommended lubricants”
0000-06-01-90-##.
4 Lubricate the balls with Oil J. Refer to
manual sheet: “Recommended lubricants”
0000-06-01-90-##.
5 Install the chains according to the illustra-
tion. Fill each length of chain with balls
before joining them. Use Isoflex Topaz-Nca
52 and LocTite 243 to lock the chain joints.
6 Shorten the last length of chain so that the
chain tensioner is in the central position.
7 Make sure that you leave a gap of a total
of 150 to 200 mm between the balls at the
return rail.
8 If it is necessary to add or remove balls,
disconnect the return rail from the drive
station and move it backwards to the other
hole in the drive station.
Warning
Do not run the chain in the position that is de-
scribed above. With the return rail disonnected
the ball chain will not function correctly. This can
cause damage to the equipment.
9 Install the locking plate for the chain link
screws. Refer to illustration 1.

1. Lock the chain lock with LocTite 243.
