Function test of the lubrication
system

To Run the Pump Manually
• GC M7: Press the lubrication button (C).
• DUoLUB: See “Installation“ section “Installa-
tion of DUoLUBE Lubrication System“.
1. Check the oil pressure. When the maximum
oil pressure has been reached, the pressure
gauge (E) should indicate a value of 30 bar
± 5 bar.
Note!
If the pump pressure is lower, there might not be
enough pressure to push the oil from the pump
to the lubrication nozzles (A).
3. Check for oil leaks as follows:
a. Wipe off any oil from the fittings and the
metering elements (B).
b. Run the pump manually.
c. Check the fittings and metering elements
(B) for any new oil that indicates a leak.
4. Check the oil distribution from the pump to
the lubrication nozzles (A) by doing the
following:
a. Wipe off any oil from the area around the
lubrication nozzles (A).
b. Run the pump manually until oil without air
bubbles appear from all lubrication nozzles
(A).
c. Check the lubrication locations on the area
for any new oil that indicates a leak.
5. Only GC M7: Check that each metering
valves (C) is connected to the correct lubri-
cation nozzle (A).
Refer to table 2.
6. Only DUoLUB: Repeat previous test proce-
dure for the other lubrication circuit. The test
has to be performed on balls and glide strip
circuits.
