12 Any cable penetration through the enclo-
sure wall must be sealed according to the
illustrations.
12a Cut a hole through the enclosure wall ac-
cording to illustration 12a.
12b Fit the cable penetration according to illus-
tration 12b.
13 Label all cables and wires according to
electrical drawing (supplied in the delivery).
14 Use wire sleeves when connecting multist-
rand wires.
15 Use EMC cable glands for cables to motors
supplied by frequency converters.
15a EMC cable gland type Miltronic.
1. Install cable gland.
2. Dismantle the outer cover and the screen
on the cable.
3. Make a cut in the outer cover 10 mm from
the edge of the outer cover.
4. Pull the cable through the gland and pull off
the outer cover at the cut.
5. Pull the cable back until the springs in the
cable gland are in contact with the screen.
6. Tighten the nut.
15b EMC cable gland type Hummel
1. Mount A together with the cable gland
enlarger (if used) on the motor connection
box.
2. Wrap the screen 8-10 mm over B before
pressing it into A. Ensure good contact be-
tween the screen and the cable gland.
3. Tighten nut.
