3. Positioning weights
1. Hold the moveable shaft in its bottom
position.
2. Position the first weight so that it is just on
the active part of the wire (item 1, illustration
3a).
3. Find the correct table.
Measure X (illustration 3a). Locate the table
with the corresponding X-value, A-value and
belt type.
4. Position the rest of the weights below the
first weight with cc according to the table.
Note: Make sure that the weights or the wire can
never come in contact with the take-up stand or
with the floor.
5. Place all spare weights on the passive part
of the wire with a small distance in between
(item 2, illustration 3a).
4. About the tables
1. The number of active weights in the tables
is a minimum value.
You may need to add more weights in
certain situations.
2. The cc-measures in the tables are
approximate.
The number of active weights stated in the
table must be on the active part of the wire
when the take-up is in its top position.
