Outstanding Frames
is the maximum number of sequentially numbered I-frames that can be waiting for
acknowledgment. If this number is exceeded, no more frames will be transmitted until
an acknowledgment is received.
Generate Clock
If this port is a physical DCE (determined by LP jumpers and/or cable/converter
interface), specify

Rcv Clock (TT) from DTE
allows the clock to be looped back from the DTE using the TT (Terminal Timing)
signal, which can be helpful on high-speed ports.
Mask Link Alarms
determines whether an alarm (see

) will be generated if the link goes up or
down.
Default Window Size
is the window that will be enforced if a window size is not included in an incoming
call setup packet.
Default Packet Size
is the window that will be enforced if a window size is not included in an incoming
call setup packet.

NRZ Data Encoding
determines whether 1 represents high-level encoding and 0 is low-level (

Non-Return to Zero and “NRZI” is Non-Return to Zero Inverted.
Half Duplex
determines whether level 1 data transmission through this port can be in one (half) or
both (full) directions at a time.
Disable Request Disconnect
prevents (if enabled) the HPAD from sending a disconnect request to the host if the
HPAD-TPAD connection is broken. This parameter has no relevance on an TPAD
port.
