D Create/Delete PVC On Line
– creates or deletes a temporary PVC. Described
in various chapters specific to protocols.
E File Transfer
– sends one or more files to a remote INM/NMP. Chapter 17 .
F Remote Control
– allows the operator at an INM or NMP to take control of any
other FRX8000 Switch on the same network. Chapter 17 .
G Update Network Defaults
– sends changes in the Network Defaults file to all
INMs/NMPs in the network. Chapter 4.
H Message Services
– allows the operator at an INM or NMP to place a call to,
or answer a call from, a subscriber device or another INM/NMP. Chapter 17 .

– displays performance and operational status for a node.
B Port Status
– displays performance and operational status for a port.
C Virtual Connections
– identifies current physical and logical connections on a
port; includes subscriber IDs, connection states.

– displays control and information data on packets passing

– identifies all trunks on a specified node.

– displays the contents of the RIP table.

INM/NMP video device instead of the printer.
D Change Default Routin
g – allows temporarily changing the node(s)
specified in the Node record (Chapter 5) that receive alarms from a
particular node.

– overwrites changes made with Change Default
Routing and restores the routing configured in the database.

travel from a source node to a destination node and back.

– is not currently supported.
H IP Ping Connectivity Test
– uses the Ping function to determine whether
an IP host is reachable.

– Chapter 20 .
A Configure Statistics Thresholds (Node/LP/Port)
– allows creation of a
threshold for a statistic that, when crossed, will cause a alarm to be
generated.
B Display Statistics (Node/LP/Port/FR
) – displays the supported statistics
for the specified component, showing current values, as well as the
highest values reached by each statistic since the node was last booted
or since maximum values were last cleared.
