Configuring Node Records

5-7

This function requires entry of a serial number and activation key, which will be pro-
vided by Cabletron on request. If it is desired that re-entry be required to re-enable the
parameter, the Node record must be deleted and a new one created, or the record can
be copied to another record, then copied again from that record to the first one.

If a Node record with DOS Extended mode enabled is copied to another record using
the

[F5]

key, DOS Extended mode will be disabled in the new record. (Moving the

record using

[F6]

will leave DOS Extended mode enabled.)
