Group “n” Subscriber “n” not in Subscriber file
Severity: 3
Meaning: During a group send Call Request verification, a record was found
in the Group Send file for which there was no subscriber record.
Action: Check the Subscriber and Group Send files.
72.
EVENTL can't open the alarm log file
Severity: 2
Meaning: The alarm log task cannot open or create the Alarm Log file
(ALMFIL.DAT).
Action: At the INM/NMP where the message occurred, type
stop [Enter]
at
the
[NETLINK]
prompt. When NMP processes have stopped, type
nmpini [Enter]
. If you see the message again, call Cabletron Systems
Technical Support . (See page 21-7.)

LOGTSK database recovery required for Node “n”
Severity: 3
Meaning: The database logging task cannot bring the node into synchroni-
zation using normal methods.
Action: Initiate a Database Recovery for the node. (See “ Database
Recovery ” on page 18-20 ,

On-line parameter change initiated for Node “n” LP “n” Port “n”
Severity: 4
Meaning: Someone modified the port parameters and requested that the new
values be sent to the port.

Database change “n” from Node “n” (CRE,ADD,UPD, DEL) applied to (filename)
Severity: 4
Meaning: The database logging task received a valid transaction (Create, Add,
Update, or Delete). The transaction has been applied to the database.

Database change “n” from Node “n” (CRE,ADD,UPD, DEL) backed out of (filename)
Severity: 4
Meaning: The database logging task received a request from a remote node to
back out the last transaction (Create, Add, Update, or Delete).
Backouts were enabled and the transaction is now backed out of the
database.

Database change “n-n” (CRE,ADD,UPD,DEL) initiated for (filename)
Severity: 4
Meaning: The database logging task received (from the operator) a database
transaction (Create, Add, Update, or Delete) and it has been applied
to the database. (“n-n” is sequential alarm number and node sending
the transaction)
