Stopping an INM

If the following steps are not followed accurately, file corruption
can occur.

1. The first step depends on the state of the INM’s display:

If the FRX8000 Test Menu (or one of its sub-menus) is displayed,
go to step 2.

◆

If the Main Menu (or one of its sub-menus) is displayed,

press [F1]

then go to step 2.

2. Press

[C]

at the FRX8000 Test Menu.

3. When prompted:

Reboot (R to reboot, T to terminate)

, press

[T]

4. At the

[NETLINK]

prompt, type

logout [Enter]

5. At the

scosysv!login:

prompt, type

root [Enter]

6. When asked for a password, type

mypass [Enter]

7. At the

prompt, type

sync; shutdown -g0 [Enter]

8. After about a minute, you will be prompted:
