2-2. Periodic Check
To make the most of the functions, fully realize performance of the unit, lengthen
the life of the unit and tape, a periodic check is recommended.
Write value of “Hours Meter” (the value which would not be reset) into the Service
Record Label attached to the back of upper lid at service of periodic maintenance.
And make reference to this service record for decision on the timing of next check.
2-2-1. Hours Meter
The hours meter can be displayed on the terminal screen of a personal computer
(PC) connected to RS-232C port of this unit. Perform a periodic check with this
hours meter as a reference.

2. Contents of display
HOURS METER DESCRIPTION

Operation Hours Accumulated hours when the power of the unit is on.
(Display the time by an hour.)

Drum Run Hours Accumulated hours when the drum rotates in the threading end state.
(Display the time by an hour.)
3
Thread Counter Accumulated number of threading and unthreading times.
(Display the actual number.)

The replacement time shown in the table is not the guarantee term of parts.
Note:
The part marked with “

” in the table is replaced simultaneously with when the part
in the column below its mark is replaced.
The “R” mark in this table indicates the replacement timing of parts.
