Check

1. Install the Cassette Reference

Plate (L)

Place the cassette reference plate (L) in the

direction shown in the figure, then place it on two

cassette supports.

2. Check the Slant Guide Slantness

(1) Press the check tool against the slant guide

from the directions indicated by the arrow A

and B.

(2) Check that the clearance between the slant

guide and tool satisfies specifications 1 and 2.

If the specifications 1 and 2 are not satisfied,

repeat steps

and

until they are satisfied.

Bend the slant guide so that both specifica-

tions 1 and 2 are satisfied.

Check again that the specifications 1 and 2

are satisfied after putting the unit into the

threading end mode and the unthreading end

mode.

3. Remove the Cassette Reference

Plate (L)

Remove the cassette reference plate (L) and

tension regulator slantness check tool.

4. Cleaning

Clean the slant guide with a cleaning piece

moistened with cleaning fluid.
