6-3. Error Processing
2. When no cassette is ejected
The tape may be damaged when the error codes below
are displayed. Do not eject the tape at that time.
Moreover, do not turn on the power again in this case.
The tape may be damaged. (Refer to section 6-3-3.)
2x01, 2x02, 2x03, 2x04, 2x05, 2x06, 2x07, 2x08,
2x09, 2x0A, 2x10, 2x11, 2x12, 2x13, 2x14, 2x20,
2x21, 2x22, 2x91, 2x93, 2x94, 2x97
g) Record the lot number of a cassette.
Check the error code and record the lot number at the back
of a cassette when the tape is ejected.
h) Check the remedy.
Refer to sections 6-3-1 and 6-3-2. Check the remedy to be
taken according to the error message and error code
displayed on the LCD of the front panel.
d) Display a log.
1. Connect the unit to a personal computer (PC) referring
to section 6-1-1.

For the setting of the communication baud rate of the
GY-2120, refer to section 6-2-5.
2. Display a log referring to section 6-2-2.
Log required: Upload command “Upload”
e) Store the contents of a log.

Follow the procedure of terminal emulator software
incorporated into the personal computer when storing the
contents of a log in a floppy disk or personal computer
(hard disk).
f) Eject a cassette.
For cassette ejection to protect the tape, view the error
message (refer to section 6-3-1) and error code (refer to
section 6-3-2) on the display (LCD) to check whether the
case can be ejected.
For how to eject the cassette, refer to the operation
(cassette insertion/eject - urgent eject) in the Operation
Manual.
1. When a cassette can be ejected
The error codes in which a cassette can be taken out by
an urgent eject are as follows:
0001, 0002, 0003, 0004, 0005, 0006, 0007, 0008,
0009, 000C, 000D, 0013, 1x1B, 1x1C, 1x1F, 1x23,
1x24, 1x25, 1x26, 1x3B, 1x3C, 1x3D, 1x41, 1x42,
1x43, 1x44, 1x47, 1x5B, 1x7A, 1x7B, 1x7C, 1x7E,
1x7F, 1XCY, 1xDA, 1xDD
