Cleaning Roller Solenoid Check (Servo check command)

Function:

Checks the function of a cleaning roller solenoid.

Operation:

(1) Enter command.

A cassette tape is automatically ejected when it has been inserted into this unit in this case.

(2) Press the J key.

Confirm that the cleaning roller solenoid is activated and the cleaning roller touches the

drum and then cleaning roller is detached from the drum after about one second.

The display on the screen appears as “-ON”, then returns to “-OFF”.

The cleaning roller solenoid is burnt when it remains on for a long time. If the cleaning

roller cannot be detached from the drum, turn off the power as soon as possible.

(3) To terminate a check, press the CTRL and C keys simultaneously.
