Replacement

Remove the S and T Reel Shift Plate Assemblies

(Refer to steps 1 through 4 in Section 3-2-3.)

Remove the Reel Shift Assembly

Install the Reel Shift Assembly

Smear Grease (Worm Gear)

Install the S and T Reel Shift Plate Assemblies

(Refer to steps 8 through 10 in Section 3-2-3.)

Adjustment after Replacement

Confirm the Cassette Pillar Height (Refer to Section 4-3.)

Connect the Flat Cable

(S side: CN10/MS-54 Board, T side: CN9/MS-54 Board)

(Refer to step 15 in Section 3-2-3.)

Confirm the Reel Shift Motor Operation

(SV17: Reel Shift Motor Check)

(Refer to Section 6-2.)

Turn the power off.

Remove the MA-83 board and the DR-327 board. (Refer to Section 1-8.)
