6-2-1. Self-Diagnosis Mode (DIAG)
This mode is used to check the GY-2120. Moreover, the following items can be displayed in this self-
diagnosis mode.

State of DIP switches on the boards.

Hours meter
. ROM versions
. Serial numbers of GY-2120
The self-diagnosis mode is activated when “DIAG” are entered from the PC in a capital letter. Message
“DIAGNOSTIC=>” is then displayed as prompt. Entered a command number (or command) after this
prompt and press the ENTER key. The command function is executed at that time.
Enter “QUIT” after this prompt and press the ENTER key. The self-diagnosis mode is then terminated.

The self-diagnosis mode cannot be activated from another mode. Terminate another mode, then enter
“DIAG”.
Help command
In the self-diagnosis mode, there is a help command that displays the function list in this mode. To
execute this help command, enter a command and press the ENTER key.
