c) LED Check (Self-diagnosis command No. 14)
Enter “14” as a command number and press the ENTER key.
Whether the LED lights/goes off normally is checked.
Check operatoin procedure
1. Turn off all the LEDs on the front panel (DSP-78 board) for one second and confirm that they go
off.
2. Turn on all the LEDs on the front panel (DSP-78 board) for one second and confirm that they
light.
(After confirmation, these LEDs return to the former state.)

In case that the check succeeds;
Message “OK” is displayed.
In case that the check fails;
Message “ERROR!!(xx:yyy)” is displayed.
d) ROM Check (Self-diagnosis command No. 15)
Enter “15” as a command number and press the ENTER key.
The sum of ROMs in a SCSI CPU block is checked automatically.

In case that the check succeeds;

In case that the check fails;
Message “ERROR!!” is displayed.
In this case, stop the GY-2120 operation immediately. Moreover, replace the MA-83 board which
mounts the ROM.
