Drum Motor Check (Servo check command)
Function: Checks the function of a drum motor automatically.
Operation:
(1) Enter command.
* A cassette tape is automatically ejected when it has been inserted into this unit in this case. A check is then
initiated
The screen display just after the check is initiated is shown below.
Auto Check Start
SPEED : NG PHASE : UNLOCK PG : NO EXIST
(2) Confirm that the display changes as shown below after a little while.
If display is not changed as below, refer to In Case of NG on this page.
Auto Check Start
SPEED : NG PHASE : LOCK PG : EXIST
(3) To terminate a check, press the CTRL and C keys simultaneously.
* The drum motor automatically stops when the CTRL and C keys are pressed simultaneously.

In case of NG:

Confirm that there is no mechanical abnormality in the drum.

Check the drum motor drive circuit (DR-327 board or MS-54 board).
. Check the drum motor.
. Confirm the drum FG output and drum PG output.

Check the drum FG amplifier circuit (DR-327 board).
.
Check the drum PG amplifier circuit (DR-327 board).
