In case of NG:

When the compartment block operation is defective:

Confirm that there is no mechanical abnormality.

Check the cassette compartment motor drive circuit (DR-327 board or MS-54 board).

Check the cassette compartment motor.

When the compartment block operation is normal but message “DRIVE TIME OUT” is displayed:

When the compartment block position does not coincide with the screen display:

Check the cassette-down sensor (CL-29 board).

Check the sensor input port of a CPU (MS-54 board).

Turn the yellow pulley shown in the figure on the right.

The compartment block then moves upward and down-

ward.

To move the compartment block upward, turn the pulley

clockwise.
