1-10-4. Command Description

[ESC] key (ESC):

Terminates remo.exe.

[F1] key (MARK): Sets the ID of a mark point.

[F2] key (SERCH): Searches to the ID of a mark point.

[F3] key (RWD):

Rewinds the tape. (A command is

reversed during operation.)

[F4] key (FWD):

Plays back the tape. (A command is

reversed during operation.)

[F5] key (F FWD): Fast-forwards the tape. (A command

is reversed during operation.)

[F6] key (STOP):

Stops the tape. (A command is

reversed during operation.)

[F7] key (Stby):

Performs the standby operation. (A

command is reversed during opera-

tion.)

[F8] key (TRC):

Performs the tracking adjustment.

[F9] key (REC):

Records the tape. (A command is

reversed during operation.)

[F10] key (EJECT): Ejects the tape. (A command is

reversed during operation.)

The commands below are entered from the keyboard of a

PC.

S1 (ENTER):

Plays back the tape at

1 time the

normal speed.

S5 (ENTER):

Plays back the tape at

5 times the

normal speed.

1-10-5. Tracking Adjustment Mode

To enter the tracking adjustment mode, operate as de-

scribed below.

Press the [F8] key (TRC) from the keyboard of a PC.

(“00” is then displayed on the screen of the PC.)

Press the [F2] key (

1) and [F3] key (

1) from the

keyboard of the PC to perform the tracking adjust-

ment.

After adjustment is completed, press the [F2] and [F3]

keys so that “00” is displayed on the screen of the PC.

Press the ENTER key.

Press the [F8] key from the keyboard of the PC.

(The tracking adjustment mode is then terminated.)

1-10-6. Completion

Press the [ESC] key from the keyboard of a personal

computer.

Turn off the power of the GY-2120WD and GY-2120-

WS.

S-1 (ENTER):

Plays back the tape at

1 time the

normal speed.

S-5 (ENTER):

Plays back the tape at

5 times the

normal speed.

S-1 (ENTER): Plays back at normal speed in the reverse

direction.

S-5 (ENTER): Plays back at five times the normal speed in

the reverse direction.
