6-4-2. Initialize of NV-RAM

The measures (data initialization and adjustment) when the data held in an NV-RAM (non-volatile memory) was lost

(during IC or board replacement) are described below.

a. For the operation from personal computer

1.

Initialize of RF adjustment data

Perform “RF09: RF Initial Data Set” at the SV/RF maintenance mode.

2.

Initialize of Servo adjustment data

Perform “S01F: SV Initial Data Set” at the SV/RF maintenance mode.

3.

RF adjustment

Execute the following in the SV/RF Maintenance mode.

RF01

PB All Adjust

RF05

REC Current Adjust

RF07

RF NV-RAM Save

4.

Servo adjustment

Perform the whole servo adjustment (section 6-5) in the SV/RF Maintenance mode.

5.

Hours meter preset

Preset “PRESETHOURS: Hours Meter” in the SV/RF Maintenance mode.

b. For the operation from front panel

For more details of execution, refer to section 6-3-4.

Initialization of RF adjustment data

Execute “DIAG:109:RF Initial Data Set” using the DIAG hole on the front panel.

Initialization of servo adjustment data

Execute “DIAG:231:Servo Initial Data Set” using the DIAG hole on the front panel.

3.

RF adjustment

Execute the following using the DIAG hole on the front panel.

Servo adjustment

Perform the whole servo adjustment (section 6-7-3) from the front panel using the DIAG hole on the front panel.

panel.
