SCSI CPU Block Check
a) 2-Port Communication Check (Self-diagnosis command No. 12)
Enter “12” as a command number and press the ENTER key.
The dual port RAM between the SCSI CPU and DRIVE CPU is automatically checked for operation.

In case that the check succeeds;
Message “OK” is displayed.
In case that the check fails;
Message “ERROR!!(ERROR:xxxxxxxx WARNING:yyyyyyyy)” is displayed.
“xxxxxxxx” indicates the error code, and “yyyyyyyy” indicates the warning code.
b) LCD Check (Self-diagnosis command No. 13)
Enter “13” as a command number and press the ENTER key.
Whether the display on the LCD is normal is checked.
Check operatoin procedure
1. Displays the character string corresponding to the entered code on the LCD for about one second.
2. Outputs the code of the displayed character string from the LCD block.
3. Compares the code of the entered character string with that of the character string displayed on
the LCD.
