Switches on DSP-78 board

S101

COMP switch

This switch sets whether to compress data during write.

SCSI: Functional extension position

(Same as in the ON position presently.)

ON: Compresses data during write.

OFF: Not compress data during write.

Factory setting: OFF

S102

EJECT switch

This switch forcibly ejects the tape. Use this switch only

when some trouble occurs.

S103

UNLOAD switch

This switch is used to load and unload a cassette.

S104

RECOVER switch

This switch recovers the tape when the tape is not

unloaded properly.

DIAG switch

This switch is used to perform the self-diagnosis of this

unit. (For more details, refer to the “Maintenance Mode

in Section 6”.)
