Pinch Roller Solenoid Check (Servo check command)

Function

: Checks the function of a pinch roller solenoid.

Operation: (1) Enter command.

*

A cassette tape is automatically ejected when it has been inserted in this unit in this case.

(2) The threading operation is initiated.  Wait until the threading operation is completed.

(3) Press the J key.  Message “-ON” is then displayed on the screen.

Confirm that the pinch lever comes near the pinch roller and cracks when the pinch

roller solenoid is turned on.

(4) Press the K key.  Message “-OFF” is displayed on the screen.

Confirm that the pinch lever is released from the pinch roller and cracks when the pinch

roller solenoid is turned off.

During threading, message “(Push the Pinch Lever)” is displayed on the screen. In this

case, return the pinch lever manually.

(5) To terminate a check, press the CTRL and C keys simultaneously.

When the CTRL and C keys are pressed simultaneously, the solenoid automatically returns to the OFF state.
