S Reel Motor Check (Servo check command)

T Reel Motor Check (Servo check command)
Function
: SV11: Checks the function of a S reel motor.
SV12: Checks the function of a T reel motor.
Operation
: The commands above are the same in operation.
(1) Enter command.
* A cassette tape is automatically ejected when it has been inserted into this unit in this case.
(2) Confirm the following. For NG, refer to the next page.
* If abnormality is found in the reel brake operation, check using SV19 and SV1A commands.

Confirm that the reel rotates clockwise at a constant speed (about 1 r.p.s.)
(after the reel brake is released) when the J key is pressed.

Confirm that the reel stops and the reel brake is applied when the space key is
pressed.

Confirm that the reel rotates counterclockwise at a constant speed (about 1 r.p.s.)
(after the reel brake is released) when the K key is pressed.

Confirm that the reel table stops and the reel brake is applied when the space key is
pressed.

J FORWARD Rotates in the forward direction ( 2 )
K REVERSE Rotates in the reverse direction ( 3 )
Space STOP Stops
** : This display changes every time the key is pressed. The reel motor rotation is not displayed, but detected.
(3) To terminate a check, press the CTRL and C keys simultaneously.
* The reel motor automatically stops when the CTRL and C keys are pressed simultaneously.
