Outline

Replacement

Remove the Pinch Arm Assembly

Install the Pinch Arm Assembly

Adjust the Pinch Arm Assembly Vertical Play

Cleaning (Pinch Roller Surface)

Notes

When the pinch roller was damaged or worn, replace the pinch roller assembly.

Do not use the stop washer fixing the pinch arm assembly again after it was

removed once.

Tools

Preparation

Turn the power off.

Remove the upper lid. (Refer to Section 1-1-1.)

Remove the plate MD. (Refer to Section 1-1-1.)

Remove the cassette compartment. (Refer to Section 1-1-2.)
