GY-2120WD/WS

4. Inserting the special download tape

Insert the special download tape written with the desired firmware. GY-2120 automatically starts reading

the tape.

Dnld Read is displayed on the LCD.

After reading, “Dnld Read OK” is displayed on the LCD.

When inserting the special download tape, check that the rec-proof tab of the cassette is indented (this

means that the cassette is rec-prohibited).

If the tape inserted is not the special download tape, it will automatically be ejected, and the error code

“DIAG:099

0990” (not download tape) will appear on the LCD.

If an error occurs while reading the download tape, “Dnld Read NG” is displayed on the LCD, the tape

is then automatically ejected, and the error code “DIAG:099

0991” (error occurred while reading

download tape) or “DIAG:099

0992 (error in contents of download tape) appear on the LCD.

The download process cannot be aborted while reading the tape.

To abort, after reading the tape, press the DIAG hole. This displays “Dnld Cancel” on the LCD, the

tape is then automatically ejected, and “DIAG:099

9999” is displayed on the LCD.
