3-6-1. CTL/TC Head Replacement

Replacement
1. Remove the CL Guide Rail (Refer to step 4 in Section 3-5-3.)
2. Disconnect the Connector
3. Remove the CTL/TC Head Assembly
4. Install the CTL/TC Head Assembly
5. Connect the Connector
6. Install the CL Guide Rail (Refer to step 23 in Section 3-5-3.)
7. Cleaning (CTL/TC Head Surface)
Adjustment after Replacement
8. Adjust the CTL/TC Head Zenith (Refer to Section 5-2.)
9. Adjust the Tape Running (Refer to Section 5-3.)
10. Adjust the CTL/TC Head Height (Refer to Section 5-5.)
11. Adjust the CTL/TC Head Azimuth (Refer to Section 5-6.)
12. Adjust the CTL/TC Head Position (Refer to Section 5-7.)
13. Perform the PG Adjustment (SV1E: Manual PG Adjustment)
(Refer to Section 6-2.)
14. Confirm the Tracking (Refer to Section 5-4.)
15. Confirm the Tape Running (Refer to Section 5-3.)
16. Confirm the Time Code Level in REV Mode (Refer to Section 5-8.)

1. Turn the power off.
2. Remove the upper lid. (Refer to Section 1-1-1.)
3. Remove the plate MD. (Refer to Section 1-1-1.)
4. Remove the cassette compartment. (Refer to Section 1-1-2.)
