Commands and Responses for Controller Link Units
Section 6-5
Status (response): The data link status of each mode is returned as shown
in the following diagram. It is the same as the data link status in the PLC.
(Refer to page 102.)
If 0000 Hex is specified as the command type (or it is omitted), only the
32 bytes for nodes 1 to 32 will be returned.
1.
The data link status is not refreshed while the data links are inactive.
2.
Nodes which are not active in the network or participating in the data links
will generate communications errors.
3.
Any node which is not active in the network retains the status that existed
immediately prior to the generation of the communications error.
4.
Only the PLC operation status and PLC error status will be refreshed for
nodes that are not participating in a data link that is active in the network.

CONNECTION DATA READ
Reads in order of connection (descending direction) the node addresses of
Controller Link Units connected in a ring. This command can only be used in
token-ring mode, for Optical Ring Controller Link Units (H-PCF cable or GI
cable).
