CPU Bus Unit Error Flag
Bit A40207 is turned ON when a parity error occurs during the transmission of data between the CPU Unit and
CPU Bus Units. The unit number of the CPU Bus Unit involved is written to word A417.
CPU Bus Unit Numbers
Bits A41000 through A41015 correspond to CPU Bus Units #0 through #15, respectively. When two CPU Bus
Units have the same unit number, the bits corresponding to the unit numbers of the CPU Bus Units involved are
turned ON.
CPU Bus Unit Duplication Error Flag
Bit A40113 is turned ON when two CPU Bus Units have been assigned the same unit number. The duplicated
unit number is indicated in A410.
CPU Bus Unit Error, Unit Number Flags
When an error occurs in a data exchange between the CPU Unit and an CPU Bus Unit, the CPU Bus Unit Error
Flag (A40207) is turned ON and the bit in A417 corresponding to the unit number of the Unit where the error
occurred is turned ON.
Duplex Communications Error Recognition Flags
Bits A43400 through A43415 turn ON when a Duplex Unit is not mounted for a unit number specified for Duplex
Communications Units (i.e., a Unit is missing or the mounted Unit does not support duplex operation). Bits 00
to 15 correspond to unit numbers 0 to F.
Duplex Communications Setting Error Flags
Bits A43500 through A43515 turn ON when the unit number or node address of 2 Units specified as a pair of
Duplex Communications Units in the PLC Setup does not agree.
Bits 00 to 15 correspond to unit numbers 0 to
F.
Duplex Communications Switched Flags
Bits A43600 through A43615 turn ON when an error occurs in the active Communications Unit and operation is
switched to the standby Communications Unit. Communications will be continued by the standby Communica-
tions Unit. Bits 00 to 15 correspond to unit numbers 0 to F. The bit is turned OFF when online replacement is
performed for the faulty Communications Unit. A code indicating the cause of the switch is stored in A042 to
A049.
Duplex Communications Standby Unit Error Flags
Turns ON when an error occurs in the standby Communications Unit (from self-diagnosis). Communications
will be continued by the active Communications Unit. Bits 00 to 15 correspond to unit numbers 0 to F. The bit is
turned OFF when online replacement is performed for the faulty Communications Unit.
CPU Bus Unit Restart Bits
Bits A50100 through A50115 can be turned ON to reset CPU Bus Units number #0 through #15, respectively.
The Restart Bits are turned OFF automatically when restarting is completed.
CIO Area: CPU Bus Unit Area
The CPU Bus Unit Area (CIO Area) is allocated to CPU Bus Units according to the unit numbers assigned to
them, as shown below. Each Unit is allocated 25 words.
