21.6 Pin
Connection
A connector must be mounted on the target system to connect the dedicated flash programmer for on-
board writing.
In addition, a function to switch between the normal operation mode and flash memory programming
mode must be provided on the board.
When the flash memory programming mode is set, all the pins not used for flash memory programming
are in the same status as that immediately after reset. Therefore, all the ports go into an output high-
impedance state, and the pins must be processed correctly if the external device does not recognize
the output high-impedance state.
21.6.1 FLMD0

In the normal operation mode, 0 V is input to the FLMD0 pin. In the flash memory programming mode,
the V
DD
write voltage is supplied to the FLMD0 pin. An example of connection of the FLMD0 pin is
shown below.
