Likely cause: The system was instructed to close
the environmental control point by either a TBOS
control point or by the closing of the corresponding
environmental control input at the far end.
CP not allowed - (crs)
CR or MN The circuit pack does not support the manual
cross-connection(s) currently provisioned for this
slot. The user should change the circuit pack type
or change the cross-connection(s) to the slot.
CP not allowed - (eqpt)
MJ or MN A DS1 or DS1PM circuit pack is installed in a LOW
SPEED slot associated with a FUNCTION UNITS
slot currently provisioned for DS3, STS1E_L (low
speed), or OLIU circuit pack service. The DS1 or
DS1PM circuit pack should be removed from the
shelf, or the FUNCTION UNITS circuit pack should
be replaced with an MXRVO or STS1E_H (high
speed) circuit pack.
CP not allowed - (timing)
CR or MN When associated with a TIMING slot, the current
circuit pack switch settings do not support the
synchronization timing provisioned. The user
should change the circuit pack switches or change
the settable synchronization parameters.
When associated with FUNCTION UNITS slot C,
the circuit pack type does not support the current
provisioned synchronization parameters. The
circuit pack type or the timing options should be
changed.
CP removed
CR, MJ or
MN A circuit pack previously installed in this system is
removed. The circuit pack should be replaced, or
an update (
upd
) command should be done to
remove it from the system equipment list.
dormant/executing code mismatch
Status This alarm condition is raised when the network
element (NE) detects that dormant software exists
on the NE with a release number that does not
match the release number of the executing
software.
DS1 CP failed
MJ or MN Internal equipment failure of the specified DS1
circuit pack.
