Hard guards should be installed permanently with the aid of a tool or welded (if possible). If
hard guards need to be automatically positioned, their positioning must be checked. It must
not be possible for operators to over side the detectors associated with these hard guards.
Hard guards shall comply with the following applicable European Standards:

Other Honeywell FF-SR Series safety control modules may be used in addition to the
FF-SRM muting module in the interface between protective safety equipment and
machine control circuitry. The following safety control modules are particularly
recommended :
