FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSION/STEERING
SERVICE INFORMATION
GENERAL
• Riding on damaged rims impairs safe operation of the vehicle.
• A contaminated brake disc or pad reduces stopping power. Discard contaminated pads and clean a contaminated disc
with a high quality brake degreasing agent.
• A hoist or equivalent is required to support the motorcycle when servicing the fro nt wheel, fork and steering stem.
• For hydraulic brake system service (page 17-4).
