HFT
Apply engine oil to the center bolt threads and
install the center bolt and washer.
NOTE:
• Install the washer w ith its rolled edge facing the
engine side.
Hold the cam dam per/primary drive gear using the
special tool.
TOOL:
Universal holder 07725-0030000
Tighten the center bolt and washer to the specified
torque.
TORQUE: 138 N-m (14.1 kgf-m, 102 Ibf ft)
Install the left crankcase cover (page 11-64).
Add the recommended engine oil (page 4-12) and
check that there are no oil leaks.
Fill and bleed the cooling system with the recom­
mended coolant (page 7-6).

Drain the engine oil (page 4-12).
Drain the coolant (page 7-6).
Remove the left crankcase cover (page 11-62).
Hold the prim ary driven gear using the special tool
and remove the bolts.
TOOL:
Gear holder, 2.5 07724-0010100 or
07724-001A100
(U.S.A. only)
Remove the prim ary driven gear.
Remove the dowel pin.
